Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur has lined up some exciting treats and offers to celebrate Deepavali 2022, the festival of lights. Deepavali represents the beginnings of the victory of good over evil, thus having light as the celebration’s central symbol. It means the light that took over the dark.
Over at Lemon Garden, enjoy a wide range of signature Seafood buffet specialities with add-on Deepavali festive dishes infusing rich aromatic spices and traditional flavours to embrace Indian cuisine. Kerala fish curry, Lamb Vindaloo and Butter Chicken Tikka Masala are among the main courses.
Vegetarians can enjoy main courses like Paneer Khatta Pyyaz or Indian cottage cheese cooked with tomatoes, bell peppers and pickled onion, Amritsari Cholley, and Thosai Masala. Indian desserts include rosewater marinated fruit salad, Gulab Jamun, Payasam, Kulfi and Rava Kesari, among others.
This year the Deepavali buffet is available from 21 to 28 October 2022, lunch is available from Tuesday to Thursday, priced at RM178 nett and Friday to Sunday, priced at RM198 nett. Buffet dinner is available from Tuesday to Thursday, priced at RM198 nett and Friday to Sunday at RM258 nett.
