Sing it Black on the Le Noir KL roof this Friday 23 March sees a return for KL favourites Cuurley & Joey G.
CUURLEY is a producer, DJ, composer and singer-songwriter hailing from KL, Malaysia. Having been in the music industry for over a decade with different aliases / projects such as Mr. Fluff, RECovery (MY), Chopstah!, CosmicSpaceMunkys, Seven, Bedroom Sanctuary and many more.
Today, CUURLEY produces tracks for A-list international artists and local all-stars alike, including Elizabeth Tan, Talitha Tan, Hunny Madu, Resh, Namewee, Sophia Andersen, Mawar Rashid, Naddy Sushi and Sasha Nicole.
As a multi-instrumentalist, he covers a variety of genres from modern pop to future house, future bass, indie rock, folk and more - constantly pushing boundaries with his style. Set to release several radio hits this year, be sure to listen out for CUURLEY’s signature sounds through your system!
Whether as a solo DJ of two decades standing renowned for his expertise in house, tech house and techno or as TV Presenter, Joey G brings his natural charm and charisma from the cameras to the console, always leaving audiences hungry for more. His four-year tenure as one of Channel V’s most popular VJs definitely increased his visibility as a TV personality, but at his core, Joey is a DJ dedicated to taking the culture which nurtured him to new exciting heights.
He has played opening sets for some of the world’s greatest DJs in those two decades such as Carl Cox, Kevin Saunderson, Derrick May, Jeff Mills, Roger Sanchez, Tall Paul, James Zabiela, Marco V, Benny Benasi and many more, and has collaborated with Cuurly as electronica duo CosmicSpaceMunkys.
Joey G is also a well sought after celebrity DJ always seen gracing the decks for prestigious brands such as Christian Dior, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Armani and Tag Heuer.
