LockerRoom Sport Bar & Kitchen presents Stefanya Morgan on 29 May 2018 for a night of deep and tech house to techno on Wesak Day.
With support from her mother, Stefanya began her musical journey as a drummer in her small band back in Junior High School. She then fell in love with DJing in 2007 with a positive response and more support from her family.
Starting off with R&B, she grew into her current focus in electro, techno and tech house and has been playing several private parties and prolific venues around Indonesia and Kuala Lumpur.
In Indonesia, she has played in many clubs and private parties, starting with Embassy The Club in Jakarta and Bandung, X2 Jakarta, Domain Club Jakarta, Immigrant Club Jakarta, Mansion Club Bandung, Amare Bandung, Legacy Bandung, Sahara Lombok, Terrace Café Jogja, Baby Face Semarang, A Club Bali and many more. DJ residencies in Indonesia have included venues like Center Stage Palembang, Alcatraz Bandung, The 101 Hotel Dharmawangsa Jakarta, and at 3rd Avenue Jakarta.
Since moving to Kuala Lumpur in 2015, she’s expanding her passion in a wide range of techno, and has played in many clubs in Kuala Lumpur such as Elysium Bar and Terrace, Le Noir, Ren at Kyo, Mango’s Tropical Café at TREC, Jiro KL, Nagaba Bar, and Elevate Club.
Highly influenced in her music taste by Amelie Lens, Charlotte De Witte, Mark Knight, Hot Since 82, Nina Kraviz, Anna, Julian Jeweil, Adam Beyer, Kryder, Tiga, Solomun, The CamelPhat, Dixon, Weiss and many more, she has developed very unique sounds that you will not regret hearing and dancing to.
