Stereo Therapy is back again at Elysium Bar & Terrace Box on 13 July bringing you the finest house and techno legends from around the region. For this edition, they welcome back one of Indonesia's award winning techno heavyweights, Jovan Blade.
Originally hailing from Jogjakarta but having clearly arrived on the global scene over a decade ago Jovan has long since cemented his name in the pages of Jogja dance music history. As a person, Jovan’s lack of pretence is enveloped in imagination and invention. Good reason for him being one of the most respected analysed and imitated DJs in Indonesia. His sets are filled with basslines and musical mystery but held down with a punchy distinctiveness and earth melody. His list of achievements is ground breaking to say the least. From his early beginnings in Jogjakarta at the age of 15 in the blossoming scene of disco to the techno of the national dj'ing world he has created and maintained a level of integrity that is the benchmark for DJs and producers globally.
In fact, he has reached the very top of his profession, being voted #1 in a voter's poll by Ravelex Dance Music Award in 2005 - 2010. Jovan has become the people's choice while maintaining his longstanding presence in underground dance culture.

Jovan has achieved 8 awards since the beginning of his career, His titles include, Indonesian DMC DJ Competition Finalist (1993), 2nd Winner of Indonesian DJ Open Festival (1994), 3rd Winner of All Indonesian DJ Championship (1995), 1st Winner of All Indonesian DJ Championship (1996), and 3rd Winner of Omnitronik Club Mixing DJ Championship (2003), Best Jogja DJ of the year by REDMA 2005 – 2007 - 2009, latest Best Techno DJ of the year 2008 - 2010.
