Substance welcomes one of the most exciting DJs at the moment, Nur Jaber, for her debut show at REN @ Kyo KL on 13 October 2018. Originally coming from a beautiful yet troubled homeland of Beirut, Lebanon, the cultural experiences have without a doubt inspired and enriched her music always having deeper messages and meanings.
She gained a plethora of valuable experiences at Boston’s Berklee College of Music over the summers. She moved more towards electronic music, in particular music that makes you dance.
The last few years have certainly been busy for this Berlin resident. Gaining much exposure from her residency at the ‘STAUB’ parties she continues to grow as a DJ and artist, playing some shows with live vocals over her DJ sets and using live 909 drums as well leaning toward more of a hybrid style.
She’s gradually establishing herself as a heavyweight techno artist and DJ.To cement that even further, she’s releasing Weapons of Mass Destruction on her own label , OSF.
The night will also see Alam, Lzzy and Qussay on decks.
