Seminal KL bass drum’n’bass night Superduperliquid makes a return early next month, as part of its monthly residency in the Club at Le Noir KL 1 November 2018. Brought to you by KL’s long standing Loops Collective, expect a night of liquid, soulful and deep roller drum’n’bass, from the Loops posse of DJ Low and Yikkz, with special guest QuadGRIND as well as DJ Biscuit Daniela Horeanga.
From the era of analog to digital, DJ Low has been in the KL scene, exploring electronic since the early 90s. Back then, he was pretty much into funk, soul, hip hop, acid jazz, chill out stuff, then picking up drum’n’bass since its infant days being introduced into the KL scene in the mid late 90s. in KL. While keeping mostly to non-mainstream vibes, he’s had fun at the World DMC Championships in 2000, he’s played some gig abroad in Europe and Asia over the years, judged, organised DJ competitions locally, founded Loops Collective and Bionics DJ Academy, now heads Take Off Records, and dabbles in house music too as part of the Low & MamaDayo project.
