Art Xtreme Media collaborates with Privi KL for this weekend with Friday's Taboo featuring Ken DMA and the Loops Collective crew whilst Saturdays features a Sweatbox special Pop Up party.
First up it’s Taboo 21 this Friday, 10 August 10 at Privi KL.
This will be the last Taboo for the foreseeable future, so they are calling all bass music heads to join them for the usual high energy, alternative music genres party. From UK Garage to drum 'N' bass, from dubstep to reggae, from leftfield house and techno to bassline and G house, Taboo is always about music that you don't hear very often, parties you only tell your best friends about and guilty music pleasures that you don't play or hear in the mainstream events. Brought to you by Art Xtreme Media, Taboo concludes over a year of mental parties in order to move onwards and upwards.
Taboo main man Ken DMA will bring his A game and his usual charisma and he will be joined behind the decks by the Loops Collective crew – Mac, Yikzz and none other than DJ Low himself. Purveyor of all things drum’n’bass, Low has managed to keep the Drum and Bass culture alive and well in Malaysia for all the past two decades.
Admission: RM30 before 3am / RM40 after 3am.

This Sweatbox Special, their second pop up party at Privi KL sees residents Meliha, Otherkind and Obadius and party starter Biscuit on a music mission to let go of our inhibitions and rock the dancefloor with the most cutting edge music picks; Obadius's melodic and minimalistic vibe, Meliha's dreamy, eerie tunes, Otherkind's classic, solid and organic sounds and Biscuit's deep and funky take on music.
They have everything across the spectrum of house and techno and some good dance moves to go with it.
