Tales of the Terrace returns this Friday 21 September on the Le Noir KL roof with Eugene and Faiz.
As one of Malaysia’s pioneers of the electronic dance music scene, Eugene was one of those instrumental in making KL something of a clubbing capital with the constant organising of numerous pioneering warehouse and outdoor parties, including the creation and conceptualization of the legendary Movement KL and Carbon Club at the beginning of this millennium.
As a DJ, his mixing style is smooth and seamless, often riding the line between funky electro and tech-house and quality deep house, and, back in the day, drum’n’bass as well.
Fast forward to today, Eugene is now a fashion designer/DJ who is coming back with a new sound that focuses on deep melodic house or dirty tech-house to techno depending on the venue.
Driven by his eagerness to be a successful DJ and armed with his confidence, FAIZ began to update his collection of tracks whilst practising using his collection of tracks. Eventually, the experimental sessions resulted to an eclectic collection of songs, ranging from Downtempo House, Electro, Trance, Techno and Drum N Bass.
