This Friday 13th April sees Rory Gallagher and Meliha at Tales of the Terrace which brings the best local and KL based DJs to the roof with their ultimate late night mix and take you on a journey of after-hours grooving.
In a current musical climate where originality can often be overtaken by the mundane and regular, Rory Gallagher’s tireless devotion and relentless energy have taken him to a point where he is beginning to shape the musical world around him. With a recent signing to Anjunadeep, productions out on Bedrock, Click, City Fox and What I Play and his music being championed by the likes of John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo, Kolsch, Guy Gerber and Joris Voorn to name a few, 2018 is quickly gaining momentum.
saw the birth of his own imprint, Soul De Anima, from the HQ in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, quickly gaining plaudits the world over. A regular DJ at Elysium in KL and Jungle Experience and KU Club on the Koh Phangan where Rory played for almost five years, alongside heavyweights such as; Orbital, Gui Boratto, Dubspeeka, Hot Since 82 and many more. Over the last five years, Rory has taken his sound around South East Asia including various clubs and festivals in Bangkok, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Tokyo and Sri Lanka.
Meliha is a Malaysian singer-songwriter/Musician and DJ in Kuala Lumpur and a curious one for music. Heavily influenced by the sounds of jazz and indie music, this songbird brings a soulful and personal experience to her live performance.
