The first collaboration between Taste of Groove and Voidance (part of the Voidrealm Collective) brings you Jonathan Kusuma in the beautiful setting of Butterfly Room at The Iron Fairies KL on 19 April 2019.
Jonathan Kusuma is a musician, producer and DJ based in Singapore and Jakarta. Combining the sounds of synth-laden disco and his native Indonesian music, Jonathan Kusuma is one of the most exciting producers in the scene right now. Known for his cosmic and dark groovy sounds, he never fails to bring the listeners to an incredible musical journey.
Jonathan has released his debut EP Gong 3000 on I'M A CLICHÉ (Paris), followed by the Underpass EP on Love On The Rocks (Berlin) in 2015 and Black Magic EP on Cocktail d'Amore Music (Berlin) in 2016. His tracks were released by internationally respected labels such as Ene Records (Japan), Power Station (Melbourne) and Correspondant (4th compilation for the label's 5th anniversary).
Since 2015, Jonathan has been enjoying the growing global recognition of his work as a DJ, which allowed him to perform at many international events and venues such as Cocktail D'Amour Parties Griessmuehle (Berlin), Renate (Berlin), Razzmatazz (Barcelona), Moog (Barcelona), Guggenheim (Bilbao), 10th Anniversary Oath (Tokyo), Travessia Bonobo (Tokyo), Holy Barbarians Gypsy (Kyoto), Power Station New Guernica (Melbourne) , Elysium (Kuala Lumpur), Savage (Hanoi) and Time (Manila).
Jonathan has also been running Jakarta based Dekadenz night together with Aditya Permana and Ridwan Susanto since 2016. The team is also managing Dekadenz Records, a label specializing in releasing DJ edits of known tracks and hidden gems.
