This Saturday, 20 July 2019 at The Sweatbox in Le Noir KL's club lounge, it’s Code Red with a lovely takeover by one of the most respected record labels in Asia – Panorasuna. Vinyl aficionados for more than 15 years , whether it be spreading the music love with their record shop in Jakarta or jamming together with their modular, analogue gear, darkbark and Darryl are a force of nature when it comes to stripped down, groovy rhythms in all their deep and eerie splendor.
The talent of making everything sounds good is a result of a very eclectic taste in music and sub bass-laden song picks that will take us deep into the underground and away from any mainstream display of music. If their sound can be associated with something, then red lipstick comes to mind, a hint of faint shadows behind an elusive curtain and deep voices whispering . It's the promise of an unveiling, and the excitement of a secret being revealed.
Experimental at its best, Panorasuna gathers the darker, twisted, loopy side of music, gives it a shine and the rendition of the layered sounds and blips is absolutely spectacular.
