The Sweatbox on Saturday 21 April 2018 at Elysium Terrace & Bar introduces yet another artist who graces their decks for the very first time: Vom Feisten (Criminal Bassline/Bar 25, Germany). Not only will he share his music picks behind the decks, he joins Sweatbox residents Obadius and Otherkind just three days before Sweatbox Records launches full force with its 21 track compilation “From Sunrise to Sunset Vol 1”.
Vom Feisten's upcoming releases on Sweatbox Records, “Not Guilty” and “Big Pill” are deep tech renditions of flowy basslines, arpeggiated synths and some cheeky vocals for good measure. Vom Festein hails from Hamburg, where he started his career as a hip hop DJ. A move to Berlin 13 years ago has purported him into the realms of electronic music. Whilst the rhythms of his current productions do reminisce about the good old days, there is nothing "G" about his music. It’s a pure, raw form of deep tech and its simplicity is overwhelming. Part of the Criminal Bassline crew and resident at Bar 25 in Berlin, Vom Feisten is taking his career to new heights with collaborations worldwide and a visible expansion of his musical direction.
Sweatbox residents OtherKind and Obadius’ “Silent Space” featured on the upcoming compilation has already garnered early support and they’ll be on decks for the night.
