This Saturday, 2 February 2019, the entire Sweatbox girl squad, comprised of the busiest female DJs in town is reuniting for their monthly Girls Got Groove 30 – an edition dedicated to all ladies behind the console and the sass and perspective they deliver through their music picks at REN Lounge.
Rimka's ethnic influences and her signature sound is stronger than ever. Her collaboration with LZZY under the " Brown Rice" alias, as well as numerous gigs near and far have started to establish her music direction and whilst there is a long road of achievements and music cheer ahead of her, RIMKA's promising talent has already managed to shine through. A traveller at heart and a fashionista by choice, her music style reflects all the colours of the universe, displayed brightly and precisely in her DJ sets as well. Well crafted, special and timeless. Her Paris days, as well as the frequent traveling, has rendered her a worldly yet distinct identity that only she can display.
Meliha's infectious eerie and melancholic approach to music is paving the way to an accomplished multi-tasking music career. A singer, guitar player, DJ and producer all in one, Meliha's style is distinctive, refined yet fresh and surprising. Her recent productions, released on Soul de Anima, Sweatbox Records and the mighty Anjunadeep reminisce of times of reflection, carefree moments and beautiful memories. The accent she puts on the melodic , deeper side of the music spectrum can be felt and heard in her sets and the depth of her music is not only genre-wise but also it displays a vast music knowledge and an impeccable taste.
Biscuit is a busy groover; from her Art Xtreme Media events to doing festival circuits and looking to take the world by storm with her party concepts, she is tirelessly putting her passion for music to good use. A hustler by day and a groover by night, her recent DJ career has started an extension of her everlasting love for all things music. With a few projects in the works, her Sweatbox Records label in conjunction to the very Sweatbox parties are keeping her in tune with the musical universe and also help her furthering and manifesting her passion, taste and love of music.
