The 7th July edition at Elysium Bar & Terrace (Box) of the Girls Got Groove (GGG) and Sweatbox Records showcase features GGG resident – Meliha , GGG/Sweatbox Records founder Biscuit and a special guest which is not exactly a girl, but who can throw down some massive dance floor fillers – Juany Bravo (USA)
His release on Sweatbox Records with Thomas Garcia- "Oiga Mire" and Meliha 's "Fly On The Wall" have both garnered incredible support from the music industry heavyweights.
Both were out last in April Sweatbox’s first release, the 21-track-25 artistes compilation "From Sunset To Sunrise Vol 1", encompassing the fun , journey-oriented vibe of Saturday nights at The Sweatbox
Sweatbox Records’ ethos is the very party with the same name, and nobody can render it better than the very artists who contributed with their amazing music to recreate the vibe of this party.
Juany Bravo is kicking goals in the studio this year, having graced the decks with de likes of Mark Knight and with a few releases on the pipeline on Krafted Digital, Shaghaied, Lapsus Music , 2018 announces an epic end for the enthusiastic artist.
This self-taught producer's style is marked by a blend of hip-hop, disco, Latin grooves and classic house sounds which are present in the wide range of original productions and remixes in his repertoire. After spending a year in Spain honing his craft and being able to play on the legendary white isle, Ibiza, and world renown clubs in Barcelona, such as Opium, it is clear to see that the old world's dance music style has rubbed off on him.
Having spent some time in Europe playing in cities such as Barcelona, Brussels, Antwerp, Berlin and Ibiza, Bravo has now found himself in the thick of the thriving Bangkok underground scene. His presence and sounds have been felt at some of the city’s best clubs and pool parties (Live RCA, CÉ LA VI, Mustache Bar, SO Pool Party, Blast! Pool Party Series, Sing Sing Theater and many more), as well as the Underground Stage at WARP Music Festival 2016, Mystic Valley Festival 2017, and playing one of the region’s most coveted underground parties, Jungle Experience Koh Phangan (alongside Dee Montero, Doorly, and Anthony Attalla), and as support for Nakadia and Sven Vath at Illuzion Phuket (DJ Mag Top 100 Clubs). With new productions and releases scheduled for the rest of the year and early next year, Juany Bravo is ready to take on the future at full speed.
Meliha is working on a collaboration with Dee Montero and a few others for Soul De Anima and her Pete Tong premiered track on Anjunadeep- "In The Wild", featuring a solid groove and eerie vocals has finally got Meliha the recognition she deserves for her all around talent.
Heavily influenced by the sounds of deep tech and techno, this songbird delivers her sets with an intricately detailed flow. Her picks are playful, surprising and melodious. Meliha is not only redefining her sound limits, however as a complete musician- singer, DJ and performer, she has been busy in the studio
