A heavy metal enthusiast and one of the pioneers of techno scene movement in Jakarta, Indra 7 of Jenja Jakarta started his career back in 1997 when he formed the first electronic act in Indonesia called Agus Sasongko and FSOP, which later become Media Distorsi in 2002.
Set for a Sweatbox appearance this Saturday 15 September at REN (Kyo KL) and Influenced by DJs and producers like Sasha, Digweed, Underworld, Max Cooper, and Carl Craig, with range of music starting from deep house, minimal, acid, progressive to techno, he explored a most extraordinary DJ-ing style at the time and was able to break boundaries of 'normal' and play whatever he wanted to.
His love for the music and the underground scene brought him to create a regular event called GLIMPSE, one of the finest and the first underground techno serial event in Indonesia in 2007, with his label, Microchip. In 2012, Ravelex Electronic Dance Music Award praised him as Techno DJ of the Year 2011.
