Located on the 51st floor, the warm hospitality of the staff greeted us instantly at the exquisite Blue bar at EQ Kuala Lumpur as we entered this amazing indoor and outdoor bar experience that essentially takes your breath away.
The indoor bar has a feeling for those who wish to have a more cooling environment. The indoor venue also plays live music on certain days, so be sure to check if you wish to listen to nostalgic music after a long day at work.
Taking you outside, brace yourself for a breathtaking scenic skyscraper view of the city. Not to mention the Petronas Twin Towers and the KL Tower. The view is miraculously beautiful on the observation deck.
The upper floor leads you to a private open space seating for those wanting a more private ambience and not wanting to be seen. They can also host private functions and group parties.
The bar also started hosting special nights with the appearance of a guest mixologist flown in to let you sip away with great concoctions. Otherwise, you’ll be served by their resident mixologist who is excellent at handcrafting your drinks. They serve a variety of cocktails to highballs or ask for a concoction of your choice if your drink isn’t on the menu. Non-alcoholic drinkers are also well catered to.
Should you feel hungry, Blue also serve a variety of bar snacks from their selective menu. The oyster is a must for seafood lovers who want to complement it well with their drinks. The bruschetta is also deliciously served with their flavorful salmon and don’t forget the quesadillas which are tangy and tasty. Nachos are also another hit to have something not too heavy to snack on with your partner or friends to keep your tummy filled while you sip on your favourite drinks.
BLUE, leaves you speechless and the view absolutely BREATHTAKING!! The picture that tells a 1000 words isn’t it and is a great place to visit. You can also hang out in the cocoon like seating area that houses a group of people for that lounge feeling.
