Nights at the Bazaar Malam W Kuala Lumpur
W’s Flock will be aptly revamped into the kind of bazaar that Malaysia is oh-so-famous for, featuring multiple different stalls each serving up sumptuous local fare. The theme intends to evoke fond memories of a truly Malaysian icon – the hustle and bustle of a lively bazaar market.
Be spoilt for choice with organic ulam-ulaman, featuring greens like foraged greens, jungle herbs, petai and ladies’ fingers from Weeds & More, local organic growers who supply directly to W Kuala Lumpur without the use of middlemen. Indulge in offerings like fried soft shell crab with chilli salt, wok fried buttermilk chicken, ketam nipah masak lemak cili api, rendang tulang rawan and daging masak hitam. Dig into a creamy bowl of fish head curry made with fresh salmon and snapper.
Wander over to the live carving station, and pick up a slab of perfectly smoked kambing bakar topped with melted raclette cheese. Slip on over to the barbecue grill, where slipper lobsters, stingrays, salmon, snapper and seabass will be served with a sizzle. Get a burst of flavours in your mouth with a huge variety of sambals, sambal cili, sambal cincalok, sambal budu and sambal tempoyak, to name a few. Wash everything down with scoops of teh tarik, gula Melaka & coconut ice cream. Finish off at the dessert station with treats like pandan kaya coconut tarts, jackfruit sago pannacotta and chilli chocolate mousse. Iftar at Hugos
Ramada Suites By Wyndham KLCC launches their Iftar set menus and invites guests to be spoilt for choice during the holy month of Ramadan. Each set menu, priced at just RM45, comes with a free three-level tiffin set (valued at RM20) to keep.
Guests ordering and served in Hugo’s KL, Ramada’s ground floor restaurant, will receive the tiffin set to take home. Orders for the hotel’s room service and home delivery via Grab Food and Deliveroo will be delivered in the tiffin set.
Chef Bahar and his team at Hugo’s KL have put together a sumptuous Buka Puasa set, featuring authentic local Malay dishes. Guests will be able to enjoy traditional delicacies including:
- Nasi briyani ayam: briyani rice, dalca sayur vegetables, pickles, egg, and papadum.
- Nasi tomato with ayam merah: tomato rice, chicken with tomato paste, dalca Sayur vegetables, pickles, and papadum.
- Ayam percik panggang with rice and vegetables: roasted chicken with traditional herbs, and steamed rice.
- Nasi kerabu with ayam percik: nasi kerabu, salad ulam, sambal kelapa, salted duck egg, budu, sambal belacan, crackers with ayam percik with sauce.
All sets are served with buah kurma, aneka kuih Melayu, and air sirap bandung, cincau or soya.

As well as Iftar set menus, the Hugo’s KL team will also make Sahoor set menus (RM35.00) available to hotel guests and will be served in-room from midnight to 5 am daily during Ramadan. Hotel guests with breakfast included in their rate ordering the Sahoor meal will receive it as part of their hotel stay.
- Nasi Goreng: Special Hugo’s fried rice served with pickles, chicken satay, egg, acar, cracker, buah kurma, cut fruit.
- Bubur Nasi Special: Porridges served with salted duck egg, spring onion, fried shallot, light soya sauce, braised peanut, fried omelette, sambal sotong, buah kurma, cut fruits.

Festive Dinner Buffett at Lemon Garden Shangri-la
The culinary team at the Lemon Garden Cafe has carefully put together a buffet menu which infuses rich Malaysian flavours into its spread of specialities.
The main attraction has always been the live action corner at the Garden Terrace, with a barbeque pit serving an array of sumptuous delights such as Shish Tawouk (charcoal grilled chicken cubes), Iranian Kubbiedeh (charcoal grill minced lamb), Iranian Tikka Mastih (charcoal grilled beef), barbecued chicken wings, fresh water prawns Siamese style, grilled US oysters and more.
The Carving Corner will feature succulent roasted whole lamb whilst an assortment of fresh seafood will also be served at the Seafood Station.
The Malay theatre kitchen will feature flavourful main dishes such as ‘Sambal Udang’ (spicy sambal prawn), ‘Rendang Pipi Lembu’ (braised beef cheek with Malay herbs and dried coconut paste), ‘Ikan Besar Bakar Sos 3 Rasa’ (baked whole fish with hot, sweet and sour sauce), ‘Kepak Ayam Madu Panggang’ (grilled honey marinated chicken wings), and of course Nasi.
The Dessert Pavilion will be featuring an array of desserts such as ice kacang with condiments, deep fried cempedak, apam balik, durian cake, pandan cakes, sekaya cakes, tropical tiramisu, coconut raisin tarts and more.
The Shangri-La Group will also be giving to the less fortunate and will do their part to address food waste and world hunger. From 5 May to 4 June 2019, for every buffet meal cover generated at the 15 participating hotels across eight countries in Southeast Asia and the Middle East, India & Indian Ocean regions the Shangri-La Group will be donating part of the meal proceeds to feed people in need.

Culinary journey at the Four Seasons
