EQ celebrates Malaysia's diverse culture of food
EQ returns with Citarasa Nipah, a diverse buffet spread of over 100 delectable traditional Malay and Southeast Asia dishes. Picha eats helping refugee families, Frontlines and the wider community.
Picha eats built a platform in January 2016 enabling refugee Mothers in Malaysia who can cook authentic meals to support their families and ensure their Kids receive an education whilst Picha market and deliver the food to the public.
In the four years, they have helped 25 families from Syria, Myanmar, Afghanistan, Palestine, Iraq and Pakistan deliver 135,000 meals.
During the MCO, Picha reactivated The Zaza Movement to help front liners and also the community that has lost jobs to provide hot meals whilst supporting the Picha chefs with income lost from cancelled orders from the corporate world.
