Belgian crooner Yannick Bovy makes a return to Malaysia with his brand new show Yannick Bovy Celebrates100 Years of Nat King Cole, at KL’s culture palace Istana Budaya this 4 & 5 October 2019 and has the kind of voice that takes us back to the time when Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra and Nat King Cole ruled the charts and melted women's hearts across the globe.
Bovy is one of Belgium's greatest new musical talents and he has the looks, flair and charisma to complete the full picture.
With his first singles, She's even more beautiful and Theoretical love, Yannick convinced many radio and television stations, not only in his home country Belgium, but also in Holland, Poland, Brazil and Asia, of his undeniable talents.
His debut album, Better Man, released in 2012 consists of 15 tracks. 'Better Man' can be described as a classy tribute to the Big Band, crooner and jazz traditions of yore, spiced with solid own work and surprising covers including absolute classics such as I've got you under my skin (Sinatra), "My Cherie Amour" (Wonder) and "All my loving" (Beatles). In short: an amazing debut album of a talent to cherish for years to come. He has since released long players All The Way (2014) and Love Swings (2017).
