Bhabie will also be here to shoot her special feature in the new season for YO! MTV Raps, MTV Asia’s popular hip hop show premiering in April. YO! MTV Raps is inspired by the original, legendary hip hop series of the same name, and celebrates the explosion of hip hop across Asia with a fresh format that features music, culture and lifestyle.
With brash and brazen bars, clever choruses, and lyrical barbs sharper than her signature acrylic nails, then 16-year-old firecracker Bhad Bhabie spouted her infamous phrase Cash me ousside, how bout dat? which became a cultural touchstone in 2017. As her profile rose, it empowered her to grab the mic and express herself through rap. Her first two singles These Heaux and Hi Bich/Whachu Know received millions of views and streams, earning Bhad Bhabie two charting debuts on Billboard’s Hot 100 and the youngest rapper to achieve the feat. Within a year since its release, Hi Bich earned a gold plaque.
In 2018, she continued this hot streak with Gucci Flip Flops (feat. Lil Yachty), which arrived as her third straight Billboard Hot 100 smash, went gold, and boasted a blockbuster music video.
She didn’t stop there though. Bhad Bhabie assembled what would become her major label debut mixtape, 15 [B.H.A.D. Music] in 2018. Immersed in a lifelong passion for rap music, she developed a striking and searing signature style. Coupled all together, she's the fastest growing celebrity ever on Instagram going from 400 to 11 Million followers in less than 6 months.
Residents DJ Biggie, Aku Ash and Kooler play up the support.
