Aina Abdul is no stranger to the Malaysian music scene. She is fondly known as Aina Mentor, a title derived from the national prime reality television singing competition Mentor Legend, which she auditioned to participate in 2014. She came into the limelight after becoming the first runner-up on the show under the apprenticeship of Malaysia’s Queen of Rock; Ella. Later that year, she gained further international recognition as she rose to win the Senior Grand Vocalist Champion’s title at the World Championship of Performing Arts (WCOPA) held in Hollywood, Los Angeles.
In 2017, she was revealed as the performing artist behind the song Ribut Hati, the original soundtrack for the year’s local blockbuster movie Tombiruo: Penunggu Rimba. Following this, she released her much awaited debut English R&B and soul single, Reminiscing.
