Inspired by Norah Jones, Zee Avi and Lianne La Havas, Aalex Termizistole the show at the inaugural BoboNose in May, and we couldn’t wait to have her back as our Artist in Residence this August.
Blending jazz into a more consumable package Aalex connects the niche genre with the easygoing nature of indie.
Her precociousness stems from past battles with Hodgkin's Lymphoma, but it's also what carved the tangerine, somewhat muffled vocals that complements her quirky personality and music.
