One of Canada’s most outspoken and hilarious women is taking the comedy circuit by storm.

Dana Alexander's comedic style is both refreshing and irreverent, drawing her material from her diverse lifestyle, her gay friends and her crazy Jamaican family.

This is a lady not to be missed!

Culture shock meets hilarity, straight up stand up from a fresh perspective. Dana talks about everything from family to sex to culture with a down-to-earth and world sensibility.

Her unique ability to see the insanity on our every-day lives is what endears her to a wide variety of audiences all over the world. Original and from the gut.


Dana draws her material from raw life experience with an original and hilarious outlook.

In 2011 Dana moved to the U.K. where she premiered her solo hour at The Edinburgh Festival for which she received rave reviews and nominations including "Best Comic" and "Best International Act" from Chortle and Black Comedy Awards.

It was not long before she then featured on British TV on programs such as "Russell Howard's Good News", "Edinburgh Comedy Fest" and "The Culture Show".

Her solo comedy special also aired in Canada's popular Stand-up show "Comedy Now" and she has been named in the Top 10 Comedians 3 years running by NOW Magazine in Canada.
