Born in Birmingham as the eldest daughter of Pakistani Muslim parents, Shazia's early life involved teaching at a secondary school, before going on to study Biochemistry at the University of Manchester.
Starting comedy in 2000, Shazia first shot to popularity when her Post-9/11 routine "My Name is Shazia Mirza" was featured on CBS's 60 Minutes. Since then, Shazia has appeared on the BBC, Channel 5, Channel 4, and ITV as well as countless radio appearances
In 2016, her show "The Kardashians Made Me Do It" received critical acclaim as she toured it across Europe.
