Dia de Los Muertos for kids

Pisco Bar, in collaboration with Spanish World will be organising "El Dia de Los Muertos for Kids"

HERE’S ONE THING we know: Día de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is not a Mexican version of Halloween. Though related, the two annual events differ greatly in traditions and tone. Whereas Halloween is a dark night of terror and mischief, Day of the Dead festivities unfolds over two days in an explosion of colour and life-affirming joy.

About the event

This event aims to introduce this Mexican holiday celebrated throughout Mexico to the little ones. And what could be better than organising some workshops evolving around this festivity.

Although the theme evolves around death, the point is to demonstrate love and respect for deceased family members. And to do so, we will follow the way they do in towns and cities throughout Mexico, where revellers don funky makeup and costumes.
