Elysium Box presents: Taboo 1st Anniversary

Friday, June 1st, Elysium Box and Art Xtreme Media in association with Mile High Sounds present : Taboo 1st Anniversary!

We are proud to reach our first milestone of alternative music genres and our unique take pushing sound boundaries to places where you haven't been before , startling feelings you haven't felt. This Friday, June 1st we celebrate the creativity that goes into Taboo parties every 1st Friday of the month at Elysium Box. Therefore we have invited the MHS team- Lish & Blastique who will not only perform but also live stream the entire party! Alongside them will be Taboo's regular- Ken Dma Speers . 

There will be a criss cross of unlikely musical genres, the usual high energy and we will reel you into the rawest possible musical forms with three artistes from wide ranging music backgrounds. Taboo's DJs do have in common wide ranging music backgrounds and this party has always been a platform for them to showcase their B sides , experiment their set approaches and play with the energy. It's Taboo where you witness artists like the techno-oriented Kuma playing jacking house or Bernie going from funk to techno in one track. It's here where the D&B Ken DMA plays OC & Verde and it's also here where the free spirit of party goers soars highest. It's a party where we always expect the unexpected. 
Taboo's concept is to aim at your most intense music desires as it is meant to showcase non mainstream music genres that only you enjoy, maybe listening to it on a quiet Sunday afternoon or when you want to fill your soul with energy that only you know how to fill.
The music direction will be as experimental as always and focuses on the spectrum of House Music of all leftfield sorts (Jacking, ,Classic, Progressive,Acid, Urban etc) however, since we said it's Taboo, then expect the experimentation to brush over genres such as Drum and Bass, Breakbeat, UK Garage and Bass and a sprinkle of...yes.. Dub and Raggae as well allowing you to get lost in sensations and a haunting musical experience.

As much as we would like to share the surprises we have prepared for you in this forthcoming edition,it's Taboo after all, as we aim to not talk whilst we are dancing so you will discover in due course what we have in store for you ;-)
