Above The Mountain is taking place on 24 and 31 December 2025 at The Grand Ballroom (Level 50), 1001...
Like postcards collected on holiday, the sights and sounds of Italy inspired composers to set their impressions to music. Originally commissioned by Paganini, Berlioz features the viola as melancholy dreamer wandering in the picturesque Abruzzi. Liszt’s electrifying Inferno dazzles with nonstop drama, while Tchaikovsky’s Capriccio Italienne takes us on a boisterous, thrilling ride through Rome.
