intim sessions is a great alternative for those looking for a more off-the-beaten-path option beyond the commercial live gigs around town. It is almost like walking into a friend’s party complete with awesome music and a cozy atmosphere.

The upcoming intim sessions #10 which falls on 20 October will feature Sarawakian Steff Fleur and Leaism.

Entry is a minimum donation of RM15.

Steff Fleur
Steff Fleur is a singer-songwriter hailing from Sarawak, but her serious process begins in Johor Bahru in 2014 when she debuted on Stickybox x Chaiwalla’s ‘We Are On The Teables’. She collects inspiration from all directions and genres, and due to that, she has no main influences. Although her debut music video is an electronic-pop original (Hurt Nobody), she enjoys bringing back pop stylings of the pre-Britney era.

Leaism
Leaism is a character created by Ilyahida. Growing up on the island of Pulau Pangkor and by the beach of Cherating has helped her explore her own sound and writing style where emotions blend with nature. Leaism's musical venture started in late 2012, from rugged streets to elegant ballrooms, her musical journey has been a crash course of understanding her vocals and music on different levels which goes to show in her strong, soulful, and husky vocals. Leaism is heavily influenced by Erykah Badu, Bob Marley, Tracy Chapman, Zainal Abidin, and The XX.
