Yes, there are tons of wine days and wine chats. But there’s one in particular that has been taking the world by storm for 60 years…the Beaujolais Nouveau; or unveiling of the first wine of the harvest season in France.
It started off in 1985, when France passed a law requiring the Beaujolais Nouveau to always be released on the third Thursday of November anywhere in the world.
To celebrate the day, Beaujolais Nouveau countdown parties became popular throughout France and abroad. Now, Beaujolais Nouveau Day is a global celebration!
