American singer-songwriter and guitarist Julie Byrne returns to Kuala Lumpur for a one-night only performance, brought to you by Live Fact.
Hailing from Buffalo, New York, Julie Byrne crafts folk music that feels like whispered secrets. Like troubadours before her, the road plays a large role in her subject matter, as does the nature she experiences along the way.
Her breakthrough second record, 2017’s Not Even Happiness, found her meditative and making new strides in intimacy; her guitar reflected her voice like a glass pond, creating beautiful and seemingly infinite spaces.
To date, she has released two studio albums, Rooms With Walls and Windows (2014) and Not Even Happiness (2017).
