About N.M.O

N.M.O. is the project of North Sea drummer and producer Morten J. Olsen and Mediterranean synthesis aficionado Rubén Patiño. N.M.O. is an ever-changing acronym that incorporates club music, performance, miltary drumming, fitness and absurdity. What they call ‘Military Danceable Space Music and/or Fluxus Techno’ is a unique blend of repetitive percussive patterns and synthetic sounds that combined with performative aspects explodes during their short and intense live shows. In a club context the most suitable time slot to play is a 30-40 min intermezzo late at night. In order to blend the acoustic and synthetic sounds properly they are in need of a big sound system.

About Juno & Hanna

By 2013 siblings brother and sisters Saiful and Hanna, decided to form a band called Juno and Hanna as a tribute to the band juno hana in collaboration with HannaHalim. The duo had been featured in 8tv quickie, The Wknd live sessions, Juice magazine Malaysia, Bfm radio station, Nylon Mag Indonesia and Popspoken Singapore. Since the start of their music career, they have been performing in various notable events such as Baybeats Singapore, Goodvibes music festival and Yayasan Sime Darby arts festival. Opened for some international acts such as Postiljonen (SWE), Bottlesmoker (ID) and Arms and Sleepers (US). In 2016 they released the debut Ep titled ‘AIR’ consisting of 6 tracks premiered through Juice Malaysia online.

They mash their unique personalities together to create the music whereas Hanif mostly handles the beats and construction of the music while Hanna creates the melody and writes the lyrics as to what she is inspired off. Most of their songs consists of looping in general, they claim it is to emphasize on a certain beat before moving on to the next.

"Opening for Postiljonen was Juno and Hanna, brother and sister duo. Hailing from Johor Bahru, Malaysia. Although it was their first time performing in Singapore, the synthpop siblings managed to put together a magical performance, where the talented 17-year old Hanna sang melodiously in her saccharine-drenched voice and Juno produced mellow beats with his wine red electronic guitar."
