After a short period of playing weekly on legendary London Pirate Radio station Girls FM, Mark was ready to break out of the capital. At the tender age of 19 he was thrown in at the deep end making his international debut in Russia as part of a cultural exchange program organised by the British Council. Featuring 2 weeks of mind blowing shows in Moscow and St Petersburg all the way through provincial towns such as Izhevsk, Yaroslavl, Kazan and Novgorad, culminating in an intimate show in -40 degree Siberia Mark had proved his credentials as a formidable international headliner.

At 20 he was one of the first DJs ever to play live at London Fashion Week and was subsequently asked by legendary fashion designer Gifi Fields to join forces with him on his new digital venture and set up and manage the groundbreaking London Digital Radio station Soho Live.

After 3 great years running the station Mark was honoured to be asked to join Mousse T & Simon Marlin (Shapeshifters) at legendary German label Peppermint Jam to head up and develop their group of distributed labels. One of Mark’s first signings to the label group was none other than Mark Knight’s Toolroom Records and he played a key role in their initial success. Other highlights include Nic Fanciulli’s first label ‘Portent’, and the Soul Avengerz. Further successes include signing crossover hits ‘Nasty Girl’ and ‘Is it Cos Im Cool’ as well as many other favourites on the label.

Whilst at Peppermint Jam Mark became their international tour party resident and he played alongside heavyweights such as Darren Emerson, Tim Deluxe, Dimitri from Paris, DJ Gregory, Martin Solveig, Mousse T, Bob Sinclar and many more with highlight shows in Berlin, Hong Kong, London and Belfast to name a few.

After 7 great years at Peppermint Jam Mark left to set up his own consultancy business and his first project was with London clubbing brand Kinky Malinki. Tasked with compiling and mixing their new series of albums Mark teamed up with the brand for a series of successful compilation albums and was soon their main resident DJ touring the Globe with the brand playing over 50 events worldwide.

After Kinky Malinki Mark moved to another successful UK based brand, Pukka Up. The already famous Ibiza Boat Party brand head hunted Mark to become a director and create their new label group and management company. Still at the helm, Mark plays every summer in Ibiza and all around the world for the brand at their tour parties. He heads up a group of 6 successful labels and manages all the DJs on the Pukka Up Roster.

In addition Mark is now one of the main room residents for London's longest running Friday Night event, The Gallery at Ministry of Sound. Here he supports supports some of the biggest names in the game as well as representing the brand internationally on their tours.

In 2015 Mark hit the milestone of 20 years of professional DJing and celebrated with his #MR20 '20 Years in the Booth' tour which saw him host amazing headline shows in 20 cities worldwide; Bali, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Hanoi, Los Angeles, London, Bangalore, Bergen, Tallinn, Edinburgh, Parnu, Ibiza, Guernsey, Belfast, Manchester, Dubai, Dublin, Galati, Cambridge...

Mark began his journey to becoming an A&R with ultra cool German record label Peppermint Jam. Working with Mousse T & Simon Marlin (Shapeshifters) Mark began finding talent when he took over the distribution of Peppermint Jam’s group of labels. Here he was able to bring record labels to life for up and coming producers. His most significant signings include Mark Knight’s Toolroom Records, Robbie Rivera’s Juicy Music, Nic Fanciulli’s
Portent Records and many more…

He played a key part in the early development of artists such as The Shapeshifters, Audiowhores, Mark Knight and more. From here Mark was asked to head up the A&R for Peppermint Jam and he secured global hits from Inaya Day, SE:SA, Mousse T & Full Intention to name a few…

Mark is co-founder and MD of Pukka Up Records, Events & Management. He oversees a group of 6 labels along with managing the highly talented PU DJ roster. Artists include Jonathan Ulysses, Marko Liv, Modaa, Falseface, Double Cream, Ted Nilsson and more…

Deluded Records is co-owned by Mark Robinson and is home of The Str8jackets. Launched in 2012 to showcase their releases.

Mark is partnered with Ibiza legend Jonathan Ulysses on Ulybug Records. Growing rapidly Ulybug has over 40 releases and is gaining support from some of the industry's biggest DJs.
