Memory of an Angel

Hailed by the Globe and Mail as “the Jascha Heifetz of our day”, star Canadian violinist James Ehnes makes a highly anticipated return to Dewan Filharmonik PETRONAS to perform Alban Berg’s Violin Concerto, a work dedicated “to the memory of an angel”. Giuseppe Verdi’s dramatic Overture to The Force of Destiny and Jean Sibelius’ sunny Second Symphony frame this exciting evening with the MPO led by acclaimed British conductor, Mark Wigglesworth.
