Mozart In Prague

Beethoven’s tragic Coriolan Overture is the musical appetizer to his youthful Second Piano Concerto, played by Malaysian pianist Loo Bang Hean, which features elements from Haydn and Mozart but with imprints of Beethoven’s later style. Mozart’s Don Giovanni Overture and Symphony No. 38, both written and premiered in Prague, are some of Mozart’s most popular pieces. Australian conductor Benjamin Northey returns to Dewan Filharmonik PETRONAS to helm these concerts.
