Our musical adventure starts off in the enchanted Ilsenstein forest, winds its way through themes of love and revenge in an Andalusian village and culminates in the dramatic narrative of a Russian master storyteller. Let your imagination take flight as Naohisa Furusawa and the MPYO bring to life three of classical music’s most beloved works: Humperdinck’s wonderfully evocative Hansel & Gretel Overture, Falla’s Three Cornered Hat with its Spanish dance rhythms, and Tchaikovsky’s powerful Fifth Symphony.
