Quinte Resurgence with Marco Loco

For ONE night only, THE underground institution of KL’s scene of the early “tennys” (2010s) makes a resurgence this April 14 2018 on the Roof Terrace of Le Noir KL at TREC KL.

QUINTE RESURGENCE, makes a special return for ONE NIGHT only, bringing you underground house and tech vibes with the original Quinte residents, founder Alex Martin, DJ Kuma, DJ Mie, together with special guest and multiple Quinte guest, Marco Loco (UK/Koh Phangan).

Quinte’s place in KL’s clubbing history is now legendary. It was over seven years ago when the club opened on Heritage Row in central KL and it rapidly became the toast of off-Mainstream KL. For over two and a half years since the end of 2010, Quinte served as THE go to club for some of the most underground house and techno vibes you could find in KL. 

Quinte’s focus has always been underground and it was deemed a local space for artistes to perform, to experiment, to showcase their talents, in underground electronic dance music. That was what the stage was about as it focused on the underground scene. Not just the music culture, it was also about giving these people the freedom and ability to express themselves and play those records that they cannot play at any other bar or venue.

It was the kind of space where you walked in and see the local DJ (with guests on occasion) championing the dance floor. It was that kind of place, a foundation for the local scene at the time.
