While much of clubland might have forgotten its real inspirations in favor of chart-bound novelty tracks, the real movers and shakers in KL’s techno space are ready for the underground to return in a big way!

Brainchild of (strange but genius) revivalists Alam, Obadius, Otherkind & Mostafa; Shaded Content is a slamming new collaborative series going down monthly at Kyo. It will exist as a platform for DJs to showcase lesser-known shades of house, minimal and techno, and not just their party favourites.

Music will bend heavily toward the experimental, deep side of minimal house and techno releases, while focusing on keeping underground music alive outside the glare of the *god-awful* mainstream.

We’re hoping this platform transforms into the perfect breeding ground for disaffected, underground music to thrive, for us to test limits, and to change the integrity of the form forever. It’s time to get Shaded!
