ROCK BRIDGE JAPAN – MALAYSIA SHOWCASE
Following the release of their latest EP Bees the band from Tokyo si,Irene embarks on their first out of Japan tour supported by Japanese band Video Boy.
si,Irene is a unique blend of Japanese sonic precision and the true American free spirit. The band is dedicated to answering the big life questions through the syncopated song composition and chiming guitars in the best traditions of The Smiths. The most fearsome indie pop Video Boy’s cite their main music influences in The Jesus and Mary Chain and Tame Impala.
The showcase is also supported by the international KL based post-punk rockers Joi Noir whose beautiful melodies are matched with the raw guitar power.
