The Sweatbox- Girls Got Groove 33

This Saturday, July 6th the girl power is unleashing for the 33rd time , over Le Noir KL's sound system and into your souls for Girls Got Groove 33 at The Sweatbox.
We have invited Meliha, Lish and Biscuit to paint this week's soundscape and to deliver a journey of amazing tunes, just as the ladies can only do.
With powerful music weapons in their collections , expect a wonderful sound trip and another Saturday night sweaty dancing adventure.

About Lish :
After just 4 lessons and receiving excellent feedback from the judges of Heineken Found@Thirst 2010 for her unique and diverse selection of house music, Lish is more than eager to take it up a notch! From turning heads during her debut “Pop My Cherry” gig at Laundry Bar, she has continued to grow from strength to strength, performing quality sets at Sixty9ine Mansion (Penang), Heli Lounge Bar, View Rooftop Bar, Marini's on 57, The Velvet Lounge (Perth), as well as at high-profile launches such as the Chivas 18 Christian Lacroix unveiling @ Imagerom and the launch of AeroSystem One by LALIQUE and Jean Michel Jarre as well as holding a residency at the newly launched Woo Bar at W hotel Kuala Lumpur.

As a former writer, she has been exposed to all facets of the entertainment industry. Combined with her eclectic taste in Nu-Disco, Jacking, Funky, Electro & Progressive House, and being surrounded by active players in the music scene, it's no wonder that this is where she is headed. Expect nothing less than a fresh blend of cuts from this fiery upstart!

About Meliha:
As a singer-songwriter/Musician and DJ, Meliha is a curious one for music. Heavily influenced by the sounds of jazz and indie music, this songbird brings a soulful and personal experience to her live performance. You’ll also find her in the hottest clubs with the best parties spinning deep house and techno, hosting a residency at Art Xtreme Media's The Sweatbox- a very popular party concept in Asia as well as producing for the coolest labels in electronic music- from Anjunadeep to Soul De Anima and beyond as well as being the W insider at W Hotel KL.

One thing is for certain though, music has been her beacon and her solace. And she’ll continue to create and be inspired by the music of others, and hopefully inspire others through her own music.

Promoter, PR pro and music head all in one, Biscuit is the alias of Daniela Horeanga- a name on everyone's lips when it comes to great electronic music parties in Asia. She does it with her own imprint - Art Xtreme Media, curating label content for her own Sweatbox Records- a collab with the MDE (UK) as well as organizing parties every week in the hottest and most forward thinking venues in town.
