Otherkind's "How Deep?" has reached its 9th edition at The Sweatbox and if you are wondering How Deep we are really going on Saturday, March 24th, then the answer is SATOSHI FUMI DEEP! :-)
Featuring alongside Otherkind is his resident mate Obadius and no other but SATOSHI FUMI ! (Moodmusic, Get Physical. Japan)

Obadius and Otherkind are both kicking goals this year. With a recent release on Kommunication records of his long awaited EP- "Convergence", Otherkind has proven his vision and talent are taking him places. Versatility is the key word here, since their joint release on Sweatbox Records , coming out in April, not only will it take you by surprise but also it shows off the real aces both OtherKind and Obadius have been keeping down their sleeves. Speaking of sleeves, they are rolled up and ready to turn 2018 into a fantastic year for both their DJ gigs and the production side.

Satoshi Fumi is a prolific DJ/producer, who has been in the game for around a quarter of a century. His recent releases on imprints such as Get Physical or Moodmusic are continuing to keep Satoshi on top of world electronic music charts and as he is one of the most hard working, talented and respected artist, here we have him, joining us at The Sweatbox with his crafty skills.
Satoshi creates sounds in his hometown,Tokyo. He calls his style “Deep Tech House”. During the 1990's, he grew interested in the Detroit, Chicago and New York house movements. He absorbed and digested the different sounds of electronic music throughout that period, helping him to shape, develop and influence his own unique style.Satoshi's production skills have matured enough today, allowing him the freedom to create, and as a DJ, to mix a variety of dance music styles together such as Deep House, Tech House and Techno.In the same way he release on many quality labels such like Mood Music, Get Physical Music, Plactic City, King Street Sounds, Night Drive Music, In House, IRecords, Klik Records, Urbantorque, Force Tracks, Yoshitoshi, Bedrock, AnjunaBeats etc... and collaborates with numerous great artists such as Todd Terry, Kaito aka Hiroshi Watanabe, Funk D' Void etc. The Sound is supported by Laurent Garnier, Ken Ishii, Nic Fanciulli, Funk D' Void, Dany Howells, Ralph Lawson, Sasse and more. He has featured on many parties in Tokyoand currently Satoshi holds a residency called “Sensual” at WOMB Lounge. His gigs around the world has seen him gracing the decks of numerous party joints in UK, Italy, Greece, Russia, Dubai, Ukraine, Taipei, Hong Kong, Indonesia and more. 2018 for Satoshi means planning a tour in Europe,Asia and South America.He owns and runs 2 prolific labels in the electronic music industry- Sequent:Recordings and Outerspace Records(with Osamu M). The 4th Friday of the month sees Satoshi featuring on his show “Outerspace”/Proton Radio.Satoshi possesses a rich imagination, and will continue to be a prolific producer across many musical styles and building a strong discography the entire time as a result.
