***AZLAN RAMLI***

Born and raised on a healthy diet of 80s new wave, Brit-metal and 90s angst, Azlan's music transcends genres, with influences as diverse as The Police, Jimi Hendrix, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Kate Bush and a dash of The Beatles.

First making waves in the 90s with his band Two Hats, in which Azlan was the primary singer and songwriter, their sole Malay album Di Mana Suara Ku achieved critical success and was commonly regarded as ahead of its time.

After the disintegration of that band, Azlan picked up bass duties for Spunky Funggy, and was one of the three driving forces (the other two being Wolf and Chong) that propelled the band from unknown misfits to the darling of the Malaysian late-90s underground and indie scenes - culminating in the band's seminal album Smile For The Revolution.

Azlan disappeared from the music scene in 2001, but has recently returned, and can be seen and heard at various open mic and singer-songwriter events in Malaysia.

***TIM LIM***

His looks may be ordinary from the first glance, but little would strangers know that he is one of the faces of the local independent music industry. This is the musical journey of Timothy Lim, also known as Tim Lim

Coming from the rustic town of Ipoh, Tim hopes his music is able to create some positive vibe in local music scene.

His first album 'THIS ROAD' was released on 9th September 2009, after years of patience and perseverance. The project is financed entirely by his own and was recorded in Kota Kinabalu with the help of singer/songwriter Jonathan Tse. Building on the momentum and hoping that the music will continue to reach out to more people. Tim continued to work with Jonathan Tse on the follow-up to the 1st album as well. On 21st July 2012, THE DAY AFTER was released.

With 2 albums and an online EP to his name, the songs are aimed at reaching out to people with a theme that reflects on decisions we make in life and the challenges we face as it can be a learning experience where we can see our strengths and weaknesses as long we have the learning passion that drives us all.

The journey has seen Tim performing in various venues such as Open Mic Malaysia venues, Kim Haus, Playspace and more.
