Brasserie Fritz is an oasis in the centre of Kuala Lumpur at the WOLO Hotel. Located in Bukit Bintang on the intersection of two of the city’s busiest streets, it is surprisingly calm and cosy with an urban elegance that gives it a distinctly metropolitan feel. Brought to you by the same people who brought you Kuala Lumpur’s best restaurants & bars: Troika Sky Dining – Fuego, Strato, Cantaloupe, and Mr. Chew’s Chino Latino Bar. Brasserie Fritz features a delicious menu that fuses traditional French cuisine with global influences, a seasonal seafood counter and two cocktail bars where they stir up “boozy breakfast” Bloody Marys and all-day Spritzes from early morning to midnight.
Starting at 8am, Brasserie Fritz opens its doors with an Australian-style breakfast menu filled with hearty, healthy and tasty options, like the very delicious Deep Fried Three Minute Eggs with cauliflower, cashews & tamarind dressing, which can be paired perfectly with a “Boozy Breakfast” Bloody Mary or a cup of coffee made with Melbourne’s famous Vittoria beans. From 11am until midnight, the kitchen stays open to serve a wide range of dishes: whether it’s from the Little Plates menu or the seafood counter, these sharing-style dishes are ideal for larger groups, while for mains there’s the Mussels à la Fritz, prepared with choucroute, and potatoes; and the Confit Lamb Shoulder. For dessert, indulge with a deep-fried Banana Split or the upside-down Pineapple Tarte Tatin.
The Seafood Counter displays the freshest seasonal delicacies flown in from around the world. The beautifully presented Fritz Platter and Grand Fritz Platter both offer a great introduction with an assortment of crab, mussels, prawns, oysters, scallop, sandy clams and saba, which are all available to be served fresh or in a variety of preparations.
At the bar, you can enjoy an ice-cold beer or one of Fritz’s many indulgent hot chocolates, made entirely from single origin chocolate sourced from Brazil, Ecuador, Tanzania and Malaysia. The Malaysian beans are aged in used Glenfiddich whiskey barrels, producing a truly unique and well-rounded cup of hot chocolate. At 4pm, the mezzanine bar comes alive as the first guests stroll in for “L’Apéro,” Fritz’s Happy Hour that lasts until 8pm, offering a selection of beer and wine, as well as a signature Gin and Tonic with Grapefruit Zest and the Fritz Spritzer. Happy Hour is available for RM15+, including complimentary little bites.
Opening Hours: Daily from 8am to midnight
