The Gaslight Cafe was an American coffeehouse located in the Greenwich Village neighborhood of the Manhattan borough of New York City. Also known as "The Village Gaslight", it opened in 1958 and became notable as a venue for folk music and other musical acts. It closed in 1971.
Today, based in Kuala Lumpur, Gaslight Cafe & Music offers the same historical style like how it was done back in the 60s.
We welcome all Musicians, Poetry Readers, Writers and Contemporary Artists to relive the early days.
