The Bar Kinugawa is headed by master bartender, Sam Kinugawa, who has years of experience from first class bars in Tokyo, Japan. After moving to Kuala Lumpur, he has been a key judge in several bar-tending contests in the local scene.
Sam also still heads his own Bar Nems, located in Nakameguro, a trendy area in Tokyo where many celebrities visit. Sam himself calls many of them as friends. Nems has constantly been rated as one of the best in its area.
The Bar Kinugawa offers many signature cocktails created by Sam. Please drop by to engage in our "zen" inspired interior which represents the contradicting notions of silence and action. This concept was brought forth by Hal, one of the local co-owners of the bar who has a deep understanding of Japanese and Eastern cultures.
