FEBRUARY 16: Billie Blue & the Nowhere Men at No Black Tie
Billie Blue & The Nowhere Men is a folk-rock outfit comprised of four members, with American-Malaysian Billie Blue Blackstone on vocals. Often described as raw and vintage, the band draws their influences from groups of the late 60s and early 70s, while also experimenting with the various musical sensibilities that each member brings.

Returning to Alexis Bistro this weekend, Xiong’s music has been described as “mellow, feel-good, laid-back”. His voice on guitar is laconic and softly spoken as the man himself, who favors short sweet phrases, dense chordal modulations, and an occasional yearning guitar solo.

Evelyn Feroza: although very much into current favourites like Bruno Marz, Ed Sheeran, Pink and even the late Amy Winehouse, this soulful young lady refers to herself as an old soul, for she finds her greatest inspiration from old greats including Ray Charles, Etta James, Ella Fitzgerald and Shirley Bassey. Just like her idols, Evie does not believe that any song should be sung in vain. Which is one of the possible reasons why she has been making waves around local entertainment scene, mesmerizing listeners with her sensational vocal capability. She’s known to either touch you deeply or bring the house down with her renditions of songs.

FEBRUARY 16: Crackhouse Presents: Sam See (SG)
Sam See is part of the region’s new wave of stand-up comedians, with the wit, skill, and liver capacity to entertain audiences of all kinds. Based in Singapore, he has opened for comedians like Harith Iskander, Bert Kreischer, Gina Yashere, Kevin Bridges, Dara Ó Briain and Ed Byrne. He has also performed in numerous comedy festivals in Asia, including the Singapore Comedy Fringe Festival, Manila Improv Festival and the Kuala Lumpur International Comedy Festival.
Sam has also been working with Comedy Central Asia since its inception for both live and televised performances, earning him a spot as one of their featured comedians online and on screen. His comedy chops in both stand-up and improv have also led him to numerous overseas performances, entertaining audiences in Melbourne, Taiwan, Malaysia, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Macau, Myanmar and the Philippines.
Sam was also on Singapore’s first ever comedy panel show, OK Chope!, filmed and telecasted live. He was one of the permanent panellist who spent each week poking fun at news and current events happening both in Singapore and around the world, along with mainstays to the Singapore entertainment scene Vernetta Lopez and Najip Ali.
Sam has worked with corporate entities like SPCA Singapore, Deutsche Bank, Punj Llyod, Region Management, YPG Singapore and various charities over the years, in an effort to give back through dick jokes.

FEBRUARY 16: Public Voice at Café Society KL
Public Voice was established on May, 1994 by Reza Khalili who has education on lead guitar in private school in Iran. They started their work as serious in 1995. Public Voice found special status between its fans in the field of blues and rock.
This group also holds variety concerts, produced some albums and co-operate with other artists and singers in Iran. Since 2008, Public Voice have travelled (Turkey, Azerbaijan, Ukraine)to continue their music career and they play music in different and famous pubs since 2008.
Now the band line up is a three piece blues & rock band living in Kuala Lumpur, still working on music and performing around the pubs and clubs. With Reza Khalili (guitar/vocals), Bahman Khalili (drums), Sasan Asgari (bass guitar).

FEBRUARY 17: Kirana Kay at Shook! Saturday Night Vibes
Kirana Kay and Her Associates is a KL based quartet playing traditional and contemporary jazz with a little blend of Latin varieties. Their musical journey started in 2015 with a five-star hotel performance which flourished to prestigious performances and events in Kuala Lumpur. In August 2016, KKHA performed for the Publika Jazz Festival where they combined theatrical elements with jazz music and came out with an Evolution of Jazz show which amazed hundreds. Recently, KKHA has released their first single, Malay jazz ballad “Hatiku Girang”.

Khairul S. is the entertainer that puts his passionate soul and music on stage. A kid that just wanted to enjoy his music to the fullest. He is also currently active with his band Temjijn which has signed to NSR Records.

Pan Productions presents The Unlimited Season – Once Upon A Time Dark Disney

Nikki Palikat is a singer and actress. To date she has released three albums; “Maharani” (2005), “Maharani Repackaged” (2006) and “Hawa” (2008). She has performed various TV theme songs. She has also recently ventured into screen acting, landing various roles in local television.
“When she sings, the world stops…” is usually a common comment when it comes to watching Dina Nadzir perform live. Dina’s fame came about when she bagged the 1st Runner-Up of Malaysian Idol Season 1 in 2004. After releasing her solo album “Cinta Datang Lagi” Dina made her acting debut in various theatre musicals, followed by films and then hosted TV programs. In 2009, Dina joined Era FM as a radio announcer while continuing her career as a singer.
Peter is equally adept on stage in operas, recitals, and musical theatre. He has appeared in multiple productions and concerts in some of the most prestigious venues across Asia and Australia.
