Crane KL Live

Live music at Crane KL to accompany your eats and drinks and cocktails in the heart of Chinatown KL. Crane KL welcomes everyone to their scenic restaurant and Upstairs bar where you can expect excellent service, tasty food, fine wine, draught beers and deliciously interesting craft cocktails in warm and comfortable surroundings.

On the Live front this week, Crane KL restaurant downstairs brings you some of our hometown greats in our live and jazz music scene from 8pm onwards. The inimitable Russell Curtis performs on Friday, Saturday Chanelle Guerzo and Halida Ramlee are set to perform. To end the week, there's Sunday Chill and Jive from Sunday noon with Mary Jackson and Eddy Zachariah on vocals and piano.

All-day dining begins at noon (Sunday 10am) and closes at midnight with the last order at 11.30pm. A breakfast menu will be offered on Sundays. There's live music at The Iron Fairies KL from Wednesdays to Saturdays from the Fairy Dust Factory Stage from 8pm. This week: Wednesday with Emmanuel. Thursday The Jason Raj Trio ft Timothy Achariam and Donnie Keys take to the stage. Friday features Love Bullet. Saturday sees Streetcode perform. The grassroots live music bar continues with music and performances and highly original music from homegrown artistes. For this month of this New Year they are celebrating 10 years of grassroots music.

Wednesday: Folk with Sounds of Kite and indie folk with Shavkat. Acoustic open mics: Magneisum Boy and Kingsley Chen.

Thursday: Singer songwriter Fabian Mark Peter and post rock with Armand Tanzarian. Acoustic open mics: Armand Ross and Ha Down.

Friday: Folk rock with Ayop and pop jazz with Fazz. Acoustic open mics: Tristan Lim and Mischief at Midnight.

Saturday: A special spoke word event at 8pm with Numinous' Akar Umbi, followed by rock with Putrabumi and grunge rock with Silvergun Superman.

Malaysian Philharmnic Orchestra Goes Broadway

The spotlight is on Broadway with musicals galore! From feel-good tunes featuring amazing vocals to riveting symphonic highlights, explore the vivid world of musical theatre where characters express their deepest emotions through song.
