Led by vocalist Kirana Kay, a new face to Simply Jazz, join her as she brings you a night of authentic Jazz, Pop Rock, Traditional Malay, R&B and Soul. A gifted vocalist with a wide repertoire of modern and contemporary songs, Kirana is also a regular performer in Kuala Lumpur's entertainment industry. With her own twist of improvisation, she draws inspiration from well-known artists, such as Michael Jackson, Miles Davis, and Billy Joel. Performing with her are the Wee Lern Trio – Lee Wern (piano), YHFoo (bass) and Cliff Wong (drums).

The purpose of the festival is to reunite the dance community in Malaysia, to enjoy live performances, celebrate the diversity of local dance culture, and continue to encourage stronger collaboration, partnership and growth in the future.
The Festival Opening Gala at Petaling Jaya Performing Arts Centre (PJPAC) will highlight some of the most accomplished Malaysian dance companies, including ASK Dance Company, Dua Space Dance Theatre, Kenny Shim Dance Collective, and Temple of Fine Arts Kuala Lumpur. It will also feature students from the dance departments of local tertiary education institutions like the National Academy of Arts, Culture and Heritage (ASWARA), Sultan Idris Educational University (UPSI) and Universiti Malaya (UM).
Traditional dances from Malay, Indian and East Malaysian cultures will grace the stage alongside contemporary dance works that highlight the creativity, skill and talent of Malaysian dancers today. This is an excellent opportunity for long-time dance fans to catch their favourite performers and for art lovers who are new to dance to discover what makes Malaysian dance unique.
