No stranger in the world of bass and beats Jordy Buijs, better known as Dr Phunk, is one of the most talented DJ/producers in the Netherlands. With several successful releases on Dirty Workz, Fusion Records and Foolish, He gained support from the biggest frontrunners in the scene such as Hardwell, Headhunterz, Coone, Mental Theo, The Darkraver and Paul Elstak, Dr Phunk is heading for the next level. Dr Phunk´s impressive list of performances is an enumeration of major hard- and freestyle events. To name a few: Decibel, Defqon, Pussylounge and for the 4th time a spot on the biggest European stage of Tomorrowland. Dr Phunk is on the edge of making history in the world of Dance.
Olly James (OliverJamesPurvis) is a 25 year old British DJ/Producer born and raised in Newcastle. At the age of 18, Olly James got into producing and guided by video tutorials the first Olly James productions were born. Two years later (Nov 2013) the first official release was a fact, ’Sphinx was released on Boom Boom Records. From that moment on releases kept coming in fast and Olly started to climb the ladder, within one year Olly James managed to release 16 tracks. Oct 2015 was the first release on Hardwell’s acclaimed label Revealed.
This was followed by an official release of the legendary Ecuador by Sash on Spinnin’ Records which received worldwide recognition. Ecuador was soon followed by two more releases on Revealed Recordings which gave Olly James a quick boost to a new dimension within the music industry.
Goldfish and Blink have been at the forefront of the DJing culture in Malaysia for more than a decade now, having established a unique style through their musical backgrounds and versatility in production styles.
Through labels like Revealed Recordings, the world is quickly discovering what tens of thousands of Malaysian EDM fans already know about Goldfish and Blink, Revealed’s latest breakthrough stars: that this Malaysian duo is set to take over. Part of a new breed of South East Asian EDM champions, the pair have been stealthily increasing their international profile via releases on Universal Music, Dirty Dutch, Vicious and MixMash Records.
Their newest release, Here We Go Again, is a massive confection of peak time energy and infectiously explosive electro drops that’s less ‘hands in the air’ than ‘rebuild the dance floor’. As the vocal sample, Here We Go Again snakes in and out of the mix, high octane kicks do battle with a thumping baseline on a track that is one of the highlights of volume four of the Hardwell Presents Revealed mix series.
With support from the likes of Hardwell, Tiesto, David Guetta, Nicky Romero, W & W, Benny Benassi and more, it’s just one more step on the journey for the pair whose arena and club sets are becoming legendary for their energy and inventiveness. Here We Go Again is their upbeat manifesto.
