Zouk KL's Merdeka Eve Special in the Zouk Main Room features Jordan Suckley (UK) and Mark Sixma (NL) on Thursday 30 August 2018.
Mark Sixma is man whose music many Trance fans know by heart. Hailing from Breda, the Dutch city that provided the world of dance music with scene leaders such as Tiësto and Hardwell, he is responsible for some of the genre’s most revered anthems, as timeless as they are essential to any Trance and EDM enthusiast’s collection.
Sixma's many productions in various genres of EDM have been released on top labels like Armada, Spinnin’ and Revealed and have gained support from the majority of top DJs in the world, including his collaborations with artists such as Armin van Buuren, W&W, Andrew Rayel and Emma Hewitt to name a few. The long-time producer turned DJ played some of the biggest venues worldwide, such as Creamfields, TomorrowWorld, Dreamstate, A State Of Trance and Ultra Music Festival. Between his sublime originals, monumental remixes for luminaries such as Armin van Buuren and Hardwell, it’s clear for all to see – and hear – that Mark Sixma belongs where he’s currently at. The very top of the Trance scene.
Born perfectionist and skilled artist, UK Born perfectionist and skilled artist, UK’s Jordan Suckley has gone from one of the scene’s most promising newcomers and a roar in the underground to playing the world’s high-end clubs, events and festivals, launching his very own Damaged Records and hitting the top of the charts with originals and remixes, is a mere reflection of the hard work this guy’s put into it.
Topping Beatport’s Trance and entering the main chart in one go lets you know why Jordan has been given the task to remix the originals of Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk, Paul Oakenfold, Markus Schulz, Gareth Emery, Aly & Fila, Simon Patterson and John O’Callaghan. Ensuing gigs at Ensuing gigs at Tomorrow World, EDC Las Vegas, A State of Trance, Future Sound of Egypt, Global Gathering UK, Cream Ibiza and tours in Australia, Asia and Argentina, the next few months await him with plenty more headliner slots. Resting on his laurels is no way to go for Jordan Suckley though, so you’d best prepare to be blown away – again and again.
