Malaysia’s Biggest Indoor Dance Music Festival is back with ZOUKIN at Zouk KL this AUG 3. This means five of Zouk KL’s many rooms will experience metamorphosis once again, transforming into their very own stage with its own unique musical direction along with a wide-array of international and regional artistes. With completely different stage concepts and over 20 musical acts from all around the world, this is a spectacular not to be missed.
Zouk Mainroom and Ace - the heart of Zouk KL with its altar-like console, massive array of LED lights and visual displays will be dubbed as EXCALIBUR and will feature a holistic line-up of Maddix (NL), Dimatik (AUS), and Heatbeat (ARG). Supporting these headliners, will be local spin-masters: Chukiess & Whackboi, BATE and RADZ.
Pablo Rindt, better known as Maddix has been involved with music ever since he was born. His musical background of playing percussion, drums and piano helped him develop his newfound passion for electronic music production.
With the raw intensity and thunder that Dimatik (AUS) belts out, it’s no surprise how this talent has evolved from EDM and Melbourne Bounce all the way to 150 bpm Psy-Bounce.
Argentinean duo Heatbeat (ARG) have smashed into the global trance scene over the past few years with their cutting edge, futuristic sound, fusing multiple genres together to create a new trance based sound for the future.
Marked as PARADISE - Zouk’s all-time favourite room, Velvet Underground will be dominated by awesome girl power. Ranked Top 10 in Malaysia’s DJane’s list - talented local female DJs Leng Yein and her sister Leng Sean will be performing alongside local star Alexis Grace. Supporting them will be our Zouk KL weekly residents Ken Fung, Mizz Kiya and Killnic. We sure look forward to a night of hyped-up music and hot dance scenes coming from this room.
Undergoing a rare transformation, Phuture will be featuring collaborations with international leading clubs across the Asia waters. Welcoming TERRA NOVA, this distinctive club sharing party with international clubs will feature Coxxie from China’s SOS Club and DJ Nana from Japan. Zouk KL’s very own Clifford Sun, TheSim and Naro will be supporting these acts on the awesome night.
Zouk KL’s urban room - Imperial, will be dubbed as DOME. The room will transform into a battlefront scene showcasing Malaysian and Singaporean DJs. Representing our homeland - Luqe and Nazkimo will be showing down against Singapore’s Lennerd and Styluxtakut. Be sure to get up on your feet and dance the night away with them.
This year marks the 14th year that Zouk Club KL has kept it’s standing of being voted Asia’s Top 3 clubs, and moved up in its ranking from Top 21 to Top 19 globally in the DJ Mag poll.
The day before, AUG 2, will see the first ever ZoukIn Music Production Masterclass take place at Zouk KL’s Apex Lounge. Zouk KL are excited to get EXCALIBUR headliners Dimatik, Maddix, and Heatbeat to gladly agree to conduct a masterclass to young talents who are looking into improving their music production skills.
