Alex van Voorst is a 54 year old fingerstyle guitar player. He made his dream come true in 1996 to record a CD “ The Gentle Fox’’ with his idol Jan Akkerman. During the years Alex specialized himself into Fingerstyle Guitar. In 2002/2003 he was elected as ‘Best guitarist of the Netherlands’ by the SENA Awards but Alex withdraw (see SENA Awards).. He shared the stage with the best guitarists of the world. Tommy Emmanuel, Richard Smith, Jan Akkerman, John Goldie and the super talented Melvyn Gnai (15) from Malaysia. So far he made 6 solo albums and 9 World tours.
